I want my free credit scores

I want to apply for a credit card

I want to protect my identity

Just curious

3 free credit scores

(Click the button above to see your credit scores for free)

I’m trying to get my annual Equifax report for free and I can’t believe annualcreditreport.com is the only site where I can do that. All the others seem intent on charging money, even after advertising in search results that they’re free. But when I go there (even to the Equifax site itself), they try to get me to pay for credit scores or for all three reports. Liars!! Is there really only one site where I can get this report for free annually?

Questions about identity theft.?

July 19th, 2011 by admin | 1 Comment | Filed in Free Equifax Credit Score

I received a random letter today from a hospital in North Dakota that stated debt collectors were trying to collect a payment from me. I have never lived in ND. I just recently moved from Ohio to Kentucky, so my information just changed over this week actually. I was worried that somebody stole my identity, so I contacted Equifax, so I could check my credit score. I am hoping that my change of address is what is causing the problems. However, after submitting my information, I was given this message:
We’re sorry, for your protection we are unable to deliver your FACT Act Equifax Free Annual Credit Report on the internet. There are a number of reasons that we may be unable to fulfill your request online. You may have a Security Freeze on your credit file, an Active Duty Military or Fraud Alert, or the identification information submitted online may not match the information on file. Please note that your credit card has not been charged
The following link will lead you to a form that is not screen-readable at this time. However, this form is not required to request your free Equifax credit report by mail. Please send your name, current address, former address, and social security number, along with any documents described below, to the following address: Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O. Which credit scores are right?

June 14th, 2011 by admin | 3 Comments | Filed in Free Equifax Credit Score

I pulled up a few scores from myficoscore.com. One of those it showed me (equifax) was 660. Fast forward 3 weeks, and I pulled my free credit report, and bought my credit score from equifax. The score ended up being 94 points less….

Which one is accurate? I have not done anything in the past 3 weeks except pay all of my bills on time.

I applied for mortgage in February of 2003? I'm only 18!?

May 25th, 2011 by admin | 5 Comments | Filed in Free Equifax Credit Score

Ok, so I had posted a question about half an hour ago about building up my credit, then began searching through answers. Found someone wanting to check their credit score, and found a link ‘www.annualcreditreport’ I believe.

So, I went on and applied for my free report. In the first step, for Equifax, I entered all of my information, then it said it wanted to confirm if it was really me and provided two questions for me to answer. The question was something like this -

"In february of 2003, you applied for a mortgage loan, what bank gave you this loan" Or something like that, and provided about 7 different companies with chex boxes next to them and I was to pick one, I don’t recall EVER applying for any loan as I am currently 18, that would make me 13-14 at the time, so I checked "none of the above". The 2nd question asked me what was the term, with a amount of months starting with I think 120 months and higher.

How can I look into this further? I’m really worried.
Ok, so how can I receive my credit reports from the agencies?

Good FICO, DTI High, Good Equity! Can I Refi a Cash Out?

May 10th, 2011 by admin | 1 Comment | Filed in Free Equifax Credit Score

We are in dire straights. We have lived in our home in Charlotte area 15 years. Home is financed with Chase. Never had a late payment, not even 1 day day late on home or the Home Equity Loan we have.
Took out a Home Equity Loan 3 years ago. Never a late payment there either.
All total our bills are killing us. Want to Refi. Balance on home is K and Home Equity Loan balance is K.
Husband lost job, just got rehired on another contract but want start his new job till next month. He is a government contactor so makes good money but when the contract stopped the money dried up quickly.
His credit score however is absolutely no help, in the 500’s.
My FICO scores are 691 Equifax, 726 Experion, and 686 Trans Union.
Problem is I only gross 33K or so a year.
We applied online for a refi to payoff bills but were told my husband is no help on the loan because of his FICO scores.
With the DTI I am at 90% so I cannot get approved to refi.
The home is worth about 5,000. We have about ,000 in Credit Card Bills and Loans we want to pay off.
Can anyone out there give us an idea of how to refi, payoff the debt and get a loan.
What about going FHA with my husband as the co-x since he has the low FICO but has very good income to lower the DTI ratio? He makes about ,000 per year and it will be Federal Taxes tax-free as he will be working overseas for a year.
We really need some professional advice.

So now im trying to find my credit score for myself but everything online is just scams and bullshit. They all say free credit score, and then you go to the website and they try to charge you when you get there. i went to annualcreditreport.com and i went through equifax this time and i didnt even get my credit score, just a list of all the things in my history. I just think drivetime is too good to be true and i got an uneasy feeling about it all i want to do is see my credit score for myself this is very frustrating.

FICO Versus Experian?

April 30th, 2011 by admin | 4 Comments | Filed in Free Equifax Credit Score

I just checked my credit score using MyFico.com and my Equifax was 584 while. While, I went to free creditreport.com and my score was 515. I immediately cancelled the freecreditreport.com, and went to the Experian website directly. Apparently they are freecreditreport.com and had the account, I just closed. So I guess my actual question is, is my score really 515? If so, does that mean its going to count against me in the mortgage area?

I'm not allowed to see my credit score (10 pts best answer)?

April 25th, 2011 by admin | 2 Comments | Filed in Free Equifax Credit Score

Hello everyone, I’m currently 19 and I have no credit pretty much..I opened a bank account with wells fargo though. I used annualcreditreport.com and entered my info and I tried all 3 agencies and they all said I couldn’t view my report…I answered pretty much everything correctly and answered those questions about mortgage etc correctly as well. But the thing is that I tried last year and was able to see it where it showed something about wells fargo but it didn’t actually show my credit score. So I’m curious why it worked last year and now all 3 agencies are declining to show me my record?

This is what it says on the last page:
