So a year or so ago I checked and I had bad credit which I knew. Several things in my history from a few years ago. Some said paid off others say written off. Then I recently went to get a new cell phone with new carrier and didnt have to pay a deposit fee which shocked me.

So I decided to check my Credit with a Free report. The first one from Experian showed 0 negatives and 1 in good standing.. Thinking this was odd from a year ago of having tons of stuff listed I then checked Transunion which reported the same thing. However when I went to check my free credit score it was BLANK..

Any idea why my score is Blank?

Why is my credit score so low?!?

March 29th, 2012 by admin | 6 Comments | Filed in Free Transunion Credit Score

I just viewed my credit score and it is 533! I went and got free credit reports from the three major credit bureaus (TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian).

On those reports I have two accounts. One is a loan that I am up to date on which I have never had any late payments, occasionally I’ll double the payment to speed it up. And two, a Macy’s credit card that I only bought one thing with so far which was only and that has been paid.

Overall my report says everything is current and payed on time, everything is basically in the color green. So I’m curious as to why my score is that low.

Note: I am young and pay everything straight from my paychecks. I just opened that macy’s card in january of this year and my loan is only 10 months old.

What is the cheapest way to get and monitor my credit score for the whole year? IN CANADA?

January 29th, 2012 by admin | 1 Comment | Filed in Free Transunion Credit Score

I already got my credit files from both Equifax and Transunion for free. Now I would like to get my credit score but only see the option for through Equifax to get both the score/file at once online…which I dont need because I only want the score part of it now.

I want to keep updated on my score as it changes throughout the year.

how can I get my 30yr mortgage changed to 40yr?

August 27th, 2011 by admin | 3 Comments | Filed in Free Transunion Credit Score

my mom & I went together on a house in 2008 because she didnt like living in my mobile. We have it down to 3,877.62 and loan is at 6%. Since that time my credit has suffered due to 3 major medical bills going to collection and a car repossesion(all during time I was on disability and my insurance was not paying my bills). My mom has now done a total about face deciding she wants to live in senior community and going to walk off and leave me to deal with house. I tried asking Chase if I could assume the loan, they said no based on my credit/income. My income is 47,000 a year, my scores are Experian 644, Equifax 574 and transunion 589 for rounded of 602. This is up from December when it was 589. I have paid off 2 of the 3 medical, and got another car and been on time with payments(14%interest). I also got 2 small credit cards and paying them off after letting it cycle thru one month, but never using to more than 30% of total max, just to build credit. My mom’s name will be coming up at any time on the senior housing waiting list. So I’m looking for ideas, I tried loan modification to lower payment and they said no until she is gone and not paying her half. Cannot refinance to lower % till I get to 620 credit score. I also just found out she signed a paper years ago when she was on California free medical program that any asset when she dies, the state can take to pay them back for 12 years of her free medical. She used over 90grand, so I have to get this place out of her name or everything I’ve paid into it will be lost to the state. Is it possible to refinance to a 40 year when you’ve been on a 30 year so you can lower payments and also remove one person’s name? Or do they only do that stuff for those with good credit?
Chase said that I do not qualify to refi on my own, even though my debt to income ration is very low because of my credit score. I cannot even modify loan because of score. I am confused why the person said it’s median, because even the credit counselour program offered by the city I live in, which charges nothing, said to take the 3 scores, total them, then divide by 3 and that is the score the bank goes by. My mortgage insurance is in place for 10 years, so that wont drop off until another 7 years, and my mom wont be here that long. The other person was confused about the 90 grand. That is how much my mom used from State Insurance. Say by some miracle of God I could make the payment on my own til my credit comes up, then refinance, still when I sold the house someday the state would take grand towards what she owned because her name was on the title. So I must have her name off the title before she dies, which at 80 could be any day. Someone once told me I could have her quick d

When you get your credit report online, can you pay the difference to get your credit score?

July 27th, 2011 by admin | 2 Comments | Filed in Free Transunion Credit Score

I know you can get it free in the mail or over the phone.

But online with Equifax or Transunion(Canada), when you buy the instant credit report for (or however much it is), after you view it, do you have the option to see your credit score as well for the 7 or 8 dollars more? Or do you have to pay the whole again to see your credit score?

For the free credit report, aren’t we suppose to get the credit score for free too?

May 24th, 2011 by admin | 4 Comments | Filed in Free Transunion Credit Score

I want to know my FICO credit score for free, but none of the 3 major credit report companies (Equifax, Transunion, Experian) provide this info for free, only my good and bad (none) standings and balances.

Is there a way I can get my FICO score for free? Maybe Attorney General Consumer Affairs or Consumer Protection? Please help. Thanks.
OK. Thanks guys. Steve, thanks for the idea. :-)

MyFico.com – which score to purchase, TransUnion or EquiFax?

May 17th, 2011 by admin | 4 Comments | Filed in Free Transunion Credit Score

Which credit score+report should I buy – TransUnion or EquiFax? I know that the two Fico scores can sometimes vary a lot, and I’ve read that lenders will take the middle score between these two and Experian. But, I’d really rather not buy both scores, as I’m buying largely out of curiosity. So is either score "better" in any way? And if not, then is either report better? (I think these are the same reports you get at annualcreditreport.com so I care more about the score than the report)

Also, for the Experian credit report I got free at annualcreditreport.com, there’s a section "Inquiries Shared With Others". Unlike the "Inquiries Shared Only With You", this section does not say: "These inquiries do not affect your credit score."

Do these "Inquiries Shared With Others" affect your Fico scores, and if so by how much?

Will I be approved for a car lease? ?

May 12th, 2011 by admin | 3 Comments | Filed in Free Transunion Credit Score

I have fairly good credit. Last I checked, my transunion score is 605 but the other two are higher(I havent checked). Never missed a payment, and I have had credit cards for a little over a year.

What are the odds I’d be approved for credit today? There’s a 2009 Honda Accord for 8 a month and no money down, and first month free. I know, amazing deal. but I’m hoping to be approved without a cosigner because I dont have one

Serious question about how to settle collection debt?

May 5th, 2011 by admin | 3 Comments | Filed in Free Transunion Credit Score

Hi every one, hope you all having nice weekend!
I have recently done my credit check for some thing, and i found out how bad my credit score is. I mean when i was teen and few cards were stolen back in 2005, my credit got bad:/ and i didn’t make payments on time. Plus i have one medical bill from 2003 and Fitness center bill.

*So all together my total collection balance on my credit report is ,030.

Which i should pay, and even with bad economy and having less money and more bill, i can try to add this bill to my paycheck too. But i need some help from ya all. If i can get any toll free # to collection dept. Or how do i contact them. I have no record of previous bills or statements. All i have is Credit report from TransUnion.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Any website or any help will be great!!

Thank you much in advance.
I did report the cards, that were stolen. They got stolen at Theme park, i was young and frighten cause that never happen to me or someone i knew. The security at the theme park helped looked but nothing. :/ i did called c-card companies the next working day and canceled the cards. There were few purchases made. I paid for couple, i was student at that time, not enough $$ plus i procrastinate too. But now i want to pay it all off to fix my credit.
