CreditRepairBook2010.com Credit repair do-it-yourself. In this video I explain one sneaky *but very legal* trick that almost no one knows about that not only helps you in your credit repair journey, but also raises your credit score nearly instantly. The sad truth is that there is an entire industry devoted to credit repair and they make hundreds of millions of dollars each and every year when anyone can do their own credit repair themselves and save thousands. The fact of the matter is that the law is on the side of the consumer! Since the Fair Credit Reporting Act was established, thousands of people have successfully put a stop to harassing collections agency calls, eliminated bad debt, and repaired their credit quickly, legally, and all by themselves. What those consumer credit counseling businesses won’t tell you (but they know all-too-well!) is that their services often do more harm than good! It’s true! When they make so-called “special arrangements” with your creditors, all they are doing is making an agreement on your behalf that you will pay off a percentage of the debt! But the bad part is that your credit is still damaged! I show you how to not only get rid of the debt that you have (often for free) but to clear those bad credit trade lines off of your credit report, which will then raise your credit score! Be sure to check out the second part of this video at http

What are your free credit scores ?

July 12th, 2011 by admin | 2 Comments | Filed in Free Experian Credit Score

Im interested in seeing how others free credit scores vary compared to mine.

I use Credit Karma, Quizzle and Credit Sesame.

My scores are :
CK-Transrisk =692 (59%)
CK Auto Insurance score =870 (66%)
CK Vantage = 874 (78%)
Credit Sesame= 702 (Experian)
Quizzle= 686

Whats interesting to me is the wide range in % scores between my transrisk and my Vantage score. 59% to 78% is pretty large.

I have never PAID for my credit score and doubt I ever will.

I anticipate my scores increasing soon as I work to remove a "released" tax lien.
My CK score was 773 prior to the tax lien. When they released the tax lien, I only increased from 681 to 692 so Im hoping that when it gets withdrawn my score will increase back to the 770 range.

If you know your scores, please post them for comparison purposes.
I wouldn’t pay even for my real fico score.

Im sure these fake ones are close enough for me.

Especially since I have no need or desire for more debt except maybe another rewards credit card if a good one came along.

I already get 5% back on gas year round & many other purchases which vary quarter by quarter.

And Im not at all worried or nervous about the scores. Just interested in the variances and how they change over time.

In the last month, my Auto Insurance score dropped about 10 points and my Vantage score went up about 12 points. for no obvious reason.
Ones score is NOT on the credit report that consumers see/

Clean Up My Credit in 3-6 Months?

July 10th, 2011 by admin | 4 Comments | Filed in Free FICO Credit Score

I want to purchase a home for ,000 but my credit sucks. My FICO score is 452 and I owe maybe a total of 00 with interest included. Most of the debt is about 2-3 years old. I know I can negotiate to get the interest off. I’d prefer a step-by-step guide so that I can clean up my credit and raise my score within the next 3-6 monts so I’ll be able to purchase a home. Are there any good books, free credit repair sites, advice from personal experiences, etc to lead me in the right direction?

667 Fico score, chances of being approved for mortgage?

June 3rd, 2011 by admin | 2 Comments | Filed in Free FICO Credit Score

My credit score is 667 and I make approximately ,000/year. I am looking to buy a house in foreclosure in Indiana for approximately ,000-,000. What are the chances I’d be approved for a mortgage based on my Fico score and income?

Due to my low income, if approved for a mortgage, I would qualify for down payment assistance and an interest free loan up to 20% of the home cost, as well as the tax credit on next year’s taxes so I’m hoping I have a shot at getting approved.

By the way, I have found several houses in this price range that I’m interested in.

What could cause a discrepancy in credit scores?

June 1st, 2011 by admin | 2 Comments | Filed in Free FICO Credit Score

My wife and I bought a car last night. She had been checking her credit scores frequently and we thought we knew approximately what the score was before we started shopping. We financed the car. When the dealership ran my wifes credit they told us that her score was significantly lower than we expected and that caused us to qualify for a higher interest rate. The dealership assured us they had no control over the FICO score. When we got home my wife checked on Free Credit Report.com and found that her score was 50 points higher than the dealership said it was from the same reporting bureau.
The question is: is there some common explanation for why this would happen? Do car dealers use some sort of adjusted score?

For the free credit report, aren’t we suppose to get the credit score for free too?

May 24th, 2011 by admin | 4 Comments | Filed in Free Transunion Credit Score

I want to know my FICO credit score for free, but none of the 3 major credit report companies (Equifax, Transunion, Experian) provide this info for free, only my good and bad (none) standings and balances.

Is there a way I can get my FICO score for free? Maybe Attorney General Consumer Affairs or Consumer Protection? Please help. Thanks.
OK. Thanks guys. Steve, thanks for the idea. :-)
