I just recently tried to purchase a home my husband has a credit score of 601 and I THOUGHT I had a 555 but when the mortgage company checked, my husbands score was 595 and mine was a 495. How can I get the exact info they get at a mortgage company to save myself the embarrassment? I checked my fico and free credit report.com. Also, We need to be in a house by November of 2009 how can we do this when no one will help unless we have a 620? Our bills are paid on time but I have about 6 months left in MY debt program. PLEASE HELP.
I ran my credit score on free credit report.com and it gave me a 421, which I know is true. However, all of these bad marks came before I was even 18 from my parents. I’ve gotten them taken off of my Experian credit report, but as I’m told you have THREE credit scores, so maybe I have to get that stuff taken off of all three of them. Now, I’ve done a little research and the general consensus is that freecreditreport.com and freecreditscore.com seem to both be scams. Is there anywhere where I can ACTUALLY get my credit scores without being scammed out of a bunch of money??
My wife and I bought a car last night. She had been checking her credit scores frequently and we thought we knew approximately what the score was before we started shopping. We financed the car. When the dealership ran my wifes credit they told us that her score was significantly lower than we expected and that caused us to qualify for a higher interest rate. The dealership assured us they had no control over the FICO score. When we got home my wife checked on Free Credit Report.com and found that her score was 50 points higher than the dealership said it was from the same reporting bureau.
The question is: is there some common explanation for why this would happen? Do car dealers use some sort of adjusted score?
thats what free credit report.com says my FICO is on the "Monthly Plus Score Tracker"….should i even go by that? its 2 months behind…..anybody know anything useful about credit? it would be much appreciated.
Not going to use "free credit report.com" not going to equifax or experian, or the other one I forget because their sites look shady too.
anyway PNC can check my credit score? why the fuck does it cost 1 dollar, and why does FCR.com submit "some" of my personal information to 3rd parties (it says so in their privacy policy) and ever since I signed up with THEM I keep getting frauded, or being hacked and whatnot.
any place that is not even romotely connected to the internet? or doesn’t cost 1$ and a 12$ a month membership to view? Im pissed.
i checked out free credit report.com and it was crap! it only monitors experian. I want to monitor ALL three bureaus with up to date monitoring as well as all three credit scores. Does this exist?
got my first credit card by discover in october, i had my first two payments so far, january and febuary. I logged onto my free credit report.com and say that I had a 690 credit score. Someone told me that isnt the real credit score that matters, the one that I am suppose to get is the Fico. So my question my 6months will be up by May and do I automatically get that score and will it be as high as the one i have now?
I have 685 from experian and 694 from eqauafax and 704 from transunion (free credit report.com) AND WHEN i checked free credit score.com they show me a lower score. I dont know which one is right.
…
I need help please
